Hives, or in medical terms called urticaria, are reddish rashes that appear on the skin. Although hives are often associated with allergic reactions, this condition can also be triggered by several other things, such as stress, drug side effects, insect bites or stings, cold or hot temperatures, and infections.
Hives are one of the most common skin health problems. It is estimated that about 20% of adults have experienced biduran, and 15% of them have experienced biduran since childhood.
Symptoms of Hives
Hives on the skin are seen as patches, rashes, and bumps that feel itchy. These patches can appear on any part of the body. Usually the symptoms of biduran appear suddenly, then fade by itself in about 24 hours, and do not require special treatment.
However, hives sufferers should seek medical help if they experience any of the following symptoms:
- Dizzy
- Swelling in the eye or mouth area
- Hard to breathe
- Limp

Handling of hives that can be done at home

Hot temperatures can make itching worse. Wear clothes that are thin and loose, and are made from comfortable and can absorb sweat. Keep the air temperature in the room to stay cool and comfortable.
Avoid sitting in direct sunlight or taking a hot shower, to prevent recurrence of hives.
5. Consuming or applying drugs
If other methods are not effective at reducing itching due to biduran, you can try using over-the-counter anti-itch medications, such as antihistamines and calamine lotion.
For very extensive and frequent recurrences, prescription drugs may be needed, such as corticosteroids and immune system suppressants.
Prevention of Hives
Knowing and avoiding what triggers itching on the skin is key to preventing recurrence of biduran. Some things that can trigger biduran are contact with animals, use of perfume, hot or cold temperatures, or exposure to certain chemicals.
In many cases, hives are caused by food. One way that can be done to prevent it is to make a food diary. This note can help you remember what foods might cause biduran. Some medications can also cause biduran, so it's important to keep track of what medications and supplements you take daily.
When to see a doctor?
If your symptoms feel worse or last longer than a few days, you should immediately consult a doctor. Similarly, if the trigger factors for biduran are not clearly known.
The doctor will do a physical examination and support, such as blood tests and allergy tests, to determine the triggers of biduran. Once known, the doctor will give a note of what things need to be avoided, and prescribe medication to treat biduran.
